Our Company
Our specialty areas include coastal process analyses, coastal change assessment, sediment budget determination, physical environmental impact assessments for coastal and estuarine wetlands, impact of coastal structures on shoreline response, spatial analyses using geographic information system (GIS) applications, and coastal geology and sediment transport process evaluations. Applied Coastal personnel are highly qualified specialists with advanced degrees in coastal science.
Since 1998, Applied Coastal scientists have been providing government agencies (Federal, State, and local) and commercial clients with detailed technical analyses of coastal environmental change. GIS tools, including computer mapping, image processing, surface modeling, and spatial analyses, are used to effectively support client needs. Applied Coastal provides extensive experience from scientists who understand project constraints, innovative technologies, and environmental regulation issues to produce environmentally sound solutions.
